Nara Park

Our next stop in our Japan trip was to a lovely little place called Nara. It was one of the ancient capitals of Japan around the 700s so it has some great sites to visits.  It is an easy train ride from Osaka and definitely worth spending a couple of days there.  Our train rides usually looked a little something like this...

Nara park was a beautiful and serene park that you could easily spend an entire day walking around. Yes, we did pack Maddie's scooter in our luggage...Maddie is a good walker but the scooter makes going out much easier!

Tons of deer roam freely in the park. They are quite friendly and actually pretty cute. Lily loved them, Maddie enjoyed them but not keen to be in reach of them...great fun for families!
