October 2012

While most of October was spent with Aunt Nora and traveling to various places in Malaysia...we did get up to a few more things. We went to Sentosa Island and Maddie tried the big trampoline. She did great! Look at that smile!

We took a trip to the Kids Kampong. Kampong is a malay word for village. Here there is a little stream filled with little fish called Longkang. You buy a net and bucket and get to go fishing for the Longkang. Whatever you catch, you get to keep. Looks like it would be easy to catch fish but it is not...the Longkang are very fast! It was great fun and the girls loved it!
In addition to Longkang fishing, you could feed the ducks, fish, and rabbits (random right?!). How cute are the little rabbits!
We also explored a place called Bollywood Veggies. Had a lovely lunch of fresh food from the farm... Hard to believe there is actually farm land in Singapore!
The girls celebrated Halloween! Don't you just love our two little princesses?!
Decorating pumpkins...Singapore style! A real pumpkin would not last very long in the humidity...

Our swing for the porch. The girls love to swing...
I'll end with Lily's face that she loves to make!
